Hi there,
I’m Judy, thanks for wanting to learn more about me!
I am currently an Orton-Gillingham practitioner (OGA/A) and Compliance/Legal Operations Lead based in New York City. Before that, I worked as an instructional designer at Rize Education, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, and iAM Learning, alongside pursuing a mix of freelance and personal projects. And before that, I was a teaching assistant at P.S. 183, a public elementary school in Manhattan.
This hodgepodge of experiences is a matter of both life’s serendipity and a firm belief in an interdisciplinary approach to solving problems, a philosophy fostered through studying human development with minors in gerontology, education, and English at Cornell University. Under the supervision of Professor Tamar Kushnir, I led research efforts on proposing a community-engaged lab model for developmental research and exploring the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's psychological health.
As chronicled in this monthly(ish) newsletter, I’m also curious about digital wellness, public speaking, law, and nontraditional methods of early childhood education.
I’d love to learn more about you, let’s chat soon!
Warmly,
Judy
